I began my moving career as a young man working for numerous moving
companies, each with its own rules and ethics. Some were honest and cared about
their clients while others deceived them just to get a job. I was a quick learner,
worked overtime and moved up the hierarchy rather quickly. I started out as a
helper and quickly worked my way up. Being a former professional soccer player
in my native country, I was always athletically fit. Naturally in my element, I
enjoyed the physical aspect of the job. Relating to customers was easy and I enjoyed
many great conversations. After some time, I found myself wanting to make a
difference and it wasn’t long till I opened my own moving company. With
experience in all fields of this industry, knowledge, and personal ethics, I
created a formula that guarantees a stress-free move.
If I had to choose one important factor on what makes a moving
company great, it’s trust. When it comes down to it, having strangers in your
home, around your belongings, invading your space is a very intimate matter. You
need to feel comfortable having them in your home or office. To gain someone’s
trust in a short period of time is an art form in itself, but in this industry
incorporating the right tools makes all the difference and it begins in the
office. From the moment you make that call to inquire about your move, you want
to hear from someone who understands your moving needs, someone who offers
advice, and genuinely cares about your circumstances. You don’t want to deal
with an insensitive sales person on the other end of the line, who doesn’t care
about your needs and is just trying to sell you to make commission. You will
never get treated like a number when you call one of our offices. Yes, Green
City Movers is a for-profit organization, but we are not in the business of
ripping people off. We pride ourselves in being able to provide professional moving
and packing services at affordable prices. Our services will never disappoint,
while our rates are some of the lowest in the Tri-State area. We will not
charge you for packing or moving supplies like most companies do. You will not
have to scavenger hunt for used cardboard boxes in your neighborhood to save
money. At Green City Movers we understand what is at stake with your move and
you can count on us during this important transition in your life.
One advice I give to all of my potential clients when they are
shopping around for a quote and that is to always hire licensed and insured
movers. With so many things on your mind, it is easy to forget to ask your
movers if they are licensed and insured, but it should always be the first
question you ask. Your overall moving experience gravely depends on it.
